Final Project

This picture was taken on 5th avenue.  The support of the Pens is evident in this buildings window decorations.

The new home of the pens.

This picture captures elements both new and old of the pens.  It is a picture of their new home consol energy center, but in the reflection you can see the historic mellon arena

The Stanley Cup banners hanging in the ceiling of the energy center.
Mario Lemieux Foundation artwork in the arena.  This is composed of hundreds of individual pictures of pens fans

This is a close up of a portion of the sign pictured previously.  It shows the fac that the penguin emblem is still prevalent but you can see that it is composed of fan submitted pictures to create the image
One of the many murals within Consol Energy Center. This is one of my favorites of sid kising the cup after the Pens victory

Sid taking a face-off in the December 2nd game against the thrashers, this was the game in which he score his first ever natural hatrick.

portraits

This is just an extra one I threw in because I liked it, It is me and my father unknowing that we were getting our picture taken, but doing the exact same thing.  I can't take credit as setting this up.

This is my roomate, I think it is a perfect way to portray her because unfortunately this is exactly as I found her sitting at her desk.
This is my self portrait.  It is just a picture taken while i was playing with my puppy.  I think it represents myself because its just me relaxing at my parents house with my dog who is a pretty pig part of my life.  I also liked this one because I felt that the ones where i was looking directly at the camera were just awkward.
This is a portrait of a stranger.  He was playing the sax outside of the consol energy center for money, he was actually pretty rude and I even had to pay just to take this picture.

landscape assignment

This landscape photo was taken in Robinson Twp where I work.  I think its a beautiful picture although if you could see the surrounding area it is slightly out of place, located  on the side of a very busy road.

This photo was taken in Mt. Washington by my apartment. I feel it is a beautiful mural on this otherwise run down fence, in the middle of area that doesn't have many appealing things to look at.
This photo was taken of a cemetary and church in Robinson Twp.  I think it is sort of a dark looking photo and almost looks as it is a haunted house on a hill in the distance.  I drive past this cemetary a couple times a week and never really looked at it untill i stopped to take these pictures.

100 images

This is the worst picture of the 100 that I took.  It was taken in my basement and the fireworks setting was on so it came out very blurry and also the lighting is bad.

This is my favorite picture straight off of the camera without any editing.  I love this flower and I think it came out really clear and shows the color well. I also enjoy the amount of green all around the background

This is my edited picture. I really enjoy the edit of making one color stand out and everything else black and white.

Web Photos

I chose this image of footprints in the sand because the beach is one of my favorite places to go and i love to just walk up and down the beach along the water.

The second picture I chose is one of a lab because not only are they my favorite type of dogs but I also have one at home and he is like a part of our family.
